About Me

Donna Queza Marketing OptimistAs a kid, I loved meeting new people, bossing them around and getting them to see things my way. With a few life lessons from mom and dad and years of school to set me straight, I rebranded my offering and found out that “bossy” can evolve quite nicely into “marketing and public relations.”

While earning my Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from California State University, Long Beach, I gained work experience in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors. From there, I transitioned into marketing communications, loving the opportunity it offered for me to be both a data geek and a creative thinker. Nowhere was that left-brain/right-brain connectivity better utilized than online.

I have overseen a number of website redesigns, blog launches, e-mail marketing campaigns and social media outreach programs. In 2010, I was invited to speak about “Making Time for Social Media in the Workplace” at the Health and Science Communications Association International Conference. In January 2012, I completed my Master’s degree in Internet Marketing from Full Sail University.

Today, I am a Marketing Optimist, running my own consultancy to help companies optimize their online communications and engage consumers through strategic Internet marketing. I still love meeting new people and can, on occasion, be heard bossing my husband around!
